Glenn Coxon

Glenn Coxon - World Record Holder, Martial Arts Master, Business Coach, WMAC & Action Star Executive

 Below is a brief BIO:

  • With over 50 years in the Martial Arts industry, you would expect a reasonable list of experience and some accomplishments and Shihan Glenn Coxon has this in spades!

  • He holds Black Belt degrees in several styles including 6th Dan Bushidokai Karate, the first Australian to rank to International Instructor Grade with Benny ‘The Jet’ Urquidez and has trained in Japan, China and extensively in the USA for many years.

  • In his travels he has enjoyed the honour being a training partner to the legendary Chuck Norris, worked closely and promoted the largest workshop tours ever seen in this country with the likes of Benny The Jet, Bill Superfoot Wallace, Cynthia Rothrock, World Champions Stan ‘The Man’ Longinidis, Maurice ‘Mean Machine’ Smith and Peter ‘Sugarfoot’ Cunningham to name a few.

  • Glenn has also been very active in his personal chase for competitive achievement including a multiple State and National Champion and is the current Guinness World Record holder for the most pine boards broken in 1 Minute; a record which has remained unbroken for more than a decade.

  • As someone who has faced many challenges, not the least of which was recently overcoming Stage 4 Cancer, typically he has taken this challenge, beaten the odds and is now a regular supporter to the Cancer Council as well as an ambassador for the Chris O’Brien Lifehouse Cancer Research Hospital in Sydney.

  • Recognised as one of the world’s leading Martial Arts promotors, visionary and tactical business entrepreneurs for many years, his reputation is that of someone who delivers quality without compromise evidenced by a bevy of ground breaking events to his credit. In between promotions Glenn conducts specialised Corporate Martial Arts training programs and not surprisingly is in increasing demand as a public speaker.

  • Thankfully Glenn now brings his wealth of experience and talent to the Action Star team.

'It's such an honour to have someone as talented and experienced to join the Action Star Team. Glenn's business, personal achievements and martial arts expertise ideally place him in an executive role and as one of our Guest Judges.' Graham Slater - Kapow TV
